GRETCH - UNITAS
Corner connectors are used to ensure better corner stability, and a wide range of accessories allows for the production of doors in various versions. Standard locks, fittings and fillings up to 46 mm thick can be installed in this profile. The doors can be opened inwards or outwards, depending on the need. They are also available in many GEALAN-acrylcolor® colours and decor foils, which allows for a wide range of designs and finishes.
This threshold is designed to combines functionality, resilience and comfort, and is particularly suitable for people with disabilities because of its small size.
Accessibility and design:
The threshold has a height of only 20 mm, making it low and easy to walk on – ideal for wheelchairs or the elderly.
Its aluminum cover provides a high degree of resistance to wear and weathering.
Sealing and insulation:
The system has multiple levels of sealing (gasket) and a special sealing block in the corner, which together ensure complete impermeability to water, air and noise.
Also, the structure is designed to provide excellent thermal insulation and optimal isothermal flow (evenly distributed temperature throughout the profile, without cold bridges).
Flexibility in installation:
The threshold can be mounted in several ways – between the frame or by attaching from below, depending on the type of door.
It is compatible with systems that have a mounting depth of 74 mm and 83 mm, making it a universal solution for various GEALAN profiles.
